| Bosch Planar Oxygen Sensors were created to meet U.S. EPA requirements for lower exhaust emissions. Bosch Planar Sensors feature a ceramic element with integrated heat which reaches operating temperature in approximately 10 to 12 seconds. At over two times faster than a conventional thimble type oxygen sensor, the quicker light-off time reduces emissions by over 50% during the cold start phase, when harmful emissions are highest. An improved protection tube increases thermal resistance for long life. The laser weld and Viton sealing system is totally submersible to seal tight and protect against contamination for long life. Coated threads make installation easy. |
